Whilst the drawdown is on we are working at clearing the Commelina Bengalensis – the trailing invasive little plant,
otherwise known by some as the wandering Jew – along the shoreline of Van Blommestein Park between CTEET and the patch known as Nile Bank. Chancey Bisweck is there on Thursdays
and would love any assistance. It’s definitely a case of many hands make lighter work.
If you or possibly your gardener have time to spare to assist please contact Emma Oliver on 0217055502 or 0736054070 so we can build a productive team.
Many thanks,
Emma
Thanks for the great work, Emma and Chance.
Great idea to publish this with good photo ID of the plant. Hopefully other shoreline homeowners and their gardeners will also pull it out.
