Yes! The great news is that the anticipated market is a go for this Sunday. We have had sooooooo many calls over the past couple of months about the re-opening of this popular event and now, looking at all factors, the committee has made the decision…. it is time!

So come on over at 9, enjoy the festivities and if you have not seen the results of all the amazing work done on the vlei by FBNR, FOZR and all its supporters, hop on a boat with us and let’s get out there ……

Then … some additional feedback of great work done by FBNR is that the park in Fishermans Walk is in the process of being fenced off to:

1. Prevent the destruction of our wetlands continuing
2. Illegal activities like Drug peddling and drug usage.
3. Prostitution

Well done once again to our FBNR full staff compliment in taking steps to keep our area safer and our precious environment protected …..

FOZR, with its partners, will be implementing a cleanup program in the next couple of weeks so that the rubbish that is on the verges of our vlei is removed once again. We thank each and every person who has contributed financially or assisting physically ….
