A few CTEET Students / Interns would like to perform presentations for the Friends on Monday 24 October 2016, at 6pm.
The presentations will be based on The Botanical Society of South Africa, highlighting facts about the society as well as articles published in Veld and Flora. The presentation will not be longer than 40 minutes.
Please could you email me to indicate interest and/or attendance, as the event will only go ahead based on attendance.

Sounds more like marketing for Bot.Soc. rather than focus on ZV, RV or Cape Wetlands flora and fauna?
Can we clarify this, please and thanks.
At present I am clear to come to support Friends anyway, but there is a pending commitment that would have to override it if it is not focussed locally as above.

Hi Jimmy,
The CTEET students working at ZEEP have to do this as part of their project, and therefore it will initially focus on Bot.Soc quite a bit.
They have done a lot to contribute to conservation in the Zeekoevlei / Rondevlei area, so I thought it was fair to try and help them out by asking the Friends to support their presentation, and ultimately assist in their growth as future conservationists.
Due to lack of interest, this event will not tale place Tonight.
