Hi all,

We will be embarking on a stroll on Saturday 3 September 2016 in the Rondevlei section. The walk will take us to Moddervlei, the seasonal wetland located south of the main wetland, which was re-excavated after being covered up approximately 63 years ago!

Have you seen Moddervlei, if not be there!

Please meet at A gate (next to the boom gate to the weir) at 09h00. To find this, turn off Victoria rd Grassy Park into Peninsula rd and proceed along Peninsula rd past the security hut until you see the boom gate on your right hand side.

Looks like it’s going to be a lovely sunny day, so bring the family for a fun morning out in the reserve!

Please remember to wear suitable clothing – the terrain is fairly easy-going however sensible walking shoes, a sun hat, and wind jacket are recommended.
