It is going to be very cold and very wet and unless people come in their wetsuits suits and with their snorkels not much fun will be had. Also, because it will be cloudy and raining, the flowers will not be open so there will be very little to see. Dalton is instead offering to do a frog evening on Friday 6 Sept at Van Blommenstein Park from 6:30 to 8pm. The meeting site will be at the Van Blommenstein Park parking area at the start of Peninsula Rd. This will be a very informal gathering and people can come and go as they wish. They may want to bring fold-up chairs and if they bring a mug and spoon, there will be butternut soup on offer. Please ask people to walk to the site if they can as parking will be a problem and we don’t want any toads to get squashed as people travel to this evening about conserving the frogs and toads.
