Dan Archer Memorial Music Festival
The Friends of Zeekoevlei and Rondevlei (FoZR) and the Barleycorn Music Club present the first annual Dan Archer Memorial Music Festival.

This event is intended to honour the memory of Dan Archer on an annual basis and raise funds for FoZR to continue successfully protecting and supporting local nature reserves.
· When: Sunday, 2 November 2014 from 12:00 noon to 5:30 pm
· Where: Rondevlei Nature Reserve
o Directions: Take M5, Turn off at Grassy Park, Go all the way down Victoria Road, Turn right onto Fishermans Walk, the reserve is at the bend in the road on your left.
· What: Live Music from local and prominent artists
o Bar, cool drinks and food for sale
o Raffle for Hudson HC1-39 Classical Guitar valued at R1,195 (sponsored by Paul Bothner Music)
o Limited edition festival t-shirts will be sold
· Costs: R60 for adults, R30 for children under age 13 and members of: FoZR or Barleycorn, Students, Pensioners
o Become a member of FoZR or Barleycorn at the event and pay only R30
Who Was Dan Archer?
· Dan was a local Zeekoevlei resident and committee member/ supporter of the Barleycorn for many years
· He initiated live music in support of FoZR back in 2007 at the first ZeekoeFees
