Dear friends,

On Heritage day, September 24th we will be celebrating at Princess Vlei with international Graffiti artist Mak1 as he completes his work on the toilet block close to the M5 at Princess Vlei. We are wanting to open up the celebrations to other artists to come with your stool, board, paints, pastels, whatever your medium and spend time under the trees or beside the water creating , in whatever way you wish.

With the mall scrapped, the forum is putting its energy into developing the vision for Princess Vlei, and ensuring that wishes of the community are heard by the City. Creative activities like this can help inspire our collective imagination in how this space can best be used to benefit all.

Come and join us between 12 and 3pm. Bring your art materials. Look. Absorb. Create. Then do join others who will be engaging in heritage day sports and braaing!
