A number of butterflies will be disappearing for a while from Zeekoevlei within just the next few weeks.
All sections of FBNR are still locked down to the public under Stage 4, so our Autumn Walk with Dalton is not possible this year.
The great news is that he has kindly offered to share his extensive knowledge with a presentation on the Autumn Butterflies found in Zeekoevlei.

2. Our own LOCK-DOWN SAFARI in the Park
This initiative, with Dalton and Tom spearheading it, has been a huge success with our residents following all lockdown precautions and heading over to Von Blommenstein Park to catch a glimpse of the various animal pics that have been placed in strategic places. Kids loved the fact that they could relate to animals in their natural state and we are encouraging additional research after the visits ….
We live in an amazing environment and an even better community …. Stay safe all – and stay healthy!

Be a Friend 🙂
